Good food from the Scottish Borders. We make pies and we've been told they're pretty tasty – traditional meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan filled pastry pockets.

We’ve won 46 British Pie Awards in our five years attending. Including Champion Fish Class 2018 with our Cullen Skink Pie, Best Meat Pie Scotland 2018 with our Pork and Blue Cheese Pie, Champion Vegetarian Class 2019 with our Spinach, Goat Cheese and Sweet Potato Pie and Champion Steak and Kidney 2020 with our Steak and Kidney Pie.

We've also got six two star Great Taste Awards and eleven one star awards for our Pies. Including, 2-Stars for our Plant-based Cauliflower Curry and 2-Stars for our Plant-based Mushroom, Chestnut and Truffle Oil.

You can find our pies in shops, pubs and restaurants throughout the UK, including Fortnum & Mason of Piccadilly, Gleneagles, Booths, Tebay and Fenwick’s. Pies by Post can be bought online and are delivered throughout the UK mainland. For every order of pies bought online we will donate a pie to Cyrenians, part of the FareShare Network.

Each pie is handcrafted in our kitchen. Using our homemade pastry, made from single source flour grown and milled 30 miles from our bakery on Mungoswells Farm. We then press fresh pie cases and fill them with delicious fillings.

Our team are obsessed with food and draw on influences from throughout the world. Back in 2016 we started as a pop-up restaurant. Baking pies is the staple these days, with the majority of the team coming from a hospitality background.

From traditional to the contemporary we're a creative and ambitious team. Our small family run business now comprises of chefs, operations assistants, business admins, delivery drivers, technical managers, building maintenance, marketing and summer events team.

Since 2017, each August we have set up shop at Assembly Festival’s George Square Gardens. Which is central to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Our streetfood set up has allowed us to sell up to 12k pies from our custom built Pie Hut over the six weeks of festivities.

After a record breaking year of pie making in 2021. At the start of 2022 we completed the expansion of our bakery giving us plenty room to grow into.

Alongside our pies we are developing new products and recipes all the time. Fresh, seasonal and local where possible. We have fun with what we do and think that comes out in our food.
